My lid blew a couple of weeks ago and is currently approaching the edge of the universe... But having met a couple of truckloads of overlander travellers whose travel plans have been thwarted by Chinese illogic (apparently, whilst visas were already acquired, China already has enough trucks), I feel considerably better.
